Ashley and Taylor were now seated, and he had ordered them a bottle of
Cabernet Savignon to go with their dinner. She sipped on her glass slowly, and
looked at him with a smile on her face.
" This is so fancy, Taylor. I
hadn't expected this."
" Well, I wanted us to have a romantic dinner together. Not just some..."
" Just being alone with you is romantic enough for me, Taylor. This is great,
but you really didn't need to bring me here." She told him. " I'm not saying I
want to leave, but just so you know all I really ever need is to be with
you."
He nodded, and gave her a big smile. " I'll remember that for next time. I
really did want to bring you somewhere special though."
The waiter came back to take their order, and they looked back
at their menu's. She ordered a ceaser salad to start off with and then
linguine for her entree. He decided to order a salad as well to start him
off, and then for his entree he decided on pollo arrosto, which was half of a
four pound chicken served with angel hair pasta and red sauce.
Sipping on his glass of wine, he gave her another smile. " I'm really glad
you said yes to this. I was afraid you would have changed your mind about dating
me, with everything that's been going on."
" I could never change my mind about us, Taylor. You've always meant the
world to me. You should know that." She took his hand in her's, and smiled.
He kissed her on the hand, and looked into her eyes. " Have I told you how
beautiful you look tonight?"
She blushed. " Thank you, Taylor. I don't believe you had."
" Well, you really do look beautiful." He stroked her cheek. " Especially
when you smile."
She had forgotten how charming he could be, and was totally feeling like she
could melt right then and there. He was being as sweet as ever, and that smile
of his didn't help. " And I know I said it already, but you look very handsome."
Now it was his turn to blush. " Thank you, Ashley."
She laughed as his face turned bright red. " I love making you blush. Your
too cute when you do that."
He shook his head at her, as she continued to laugh at him. " You are so not
funny." But he was smiling as he said that.
They enjoyed their nice romantic dinner, and afterwards he took her home.
Walking her to the door, he smiled at her and leaned in to kiss her. Their lips
met, and once again she went weak in the knees as she kissed him back gently. "
Thank you for a wonderful dinner, Taylor. Would you like to come in?" She asked,
once pulling out of the kiss.
" I would love to, Ashley." He followed her inside, and she led him into the
kitchen.
" I have a bottle of champagne I could open if your interested. Or just some
beer if you want." She told him, as she opened up the fridge.
" Champagne sounds great." Taylor said, smiling at her.
She took the bottle of Canard-Duchene Brut Rose out and got out two glasses.
He opened the bottle up himself, and poured them each a glass. " This has been
an amazing night, Taylor. I really don't want it to end."
" It hasn't ended yet." He said, handing her a glass. " And who says it has
to?"
She smiled, and took a sip of the chamgpagne. " True. You don't exactly have
kids to go home to right now, except for Arielle. And she'll probably stay over
at Zac and Kate's tonight."
" Exactly. We have all night to enjoy ourselves." Sipping on his glass, he
smiled back at her. Then he set it down, and kissed her. " We can do whatever
you want to do."
" I might have a few ideas." She told him. Kissing him back, she set her
glass down and wrapped her arms around him.
Their kiss started out gentle at first, but quickly became more passionate as
she wrapped her arms around his neck. He teased her with his tongue until she
couldn't take it anymore, and finally he slide it inside her mouth. She let out
a slight moan as their tongues met, and continued to kiss him back. He brought
his hands down to her waist, gently pushing her against the wall. Her lips moved
to his neck, and she gently began to nibble. A moan escaped his mouth as she
kissed and nibbled at his neck. " Ashley, I... I want to be with you so
bad."
" Then I guess you should take me upstairs." She told him, and kissed him on
the lips again.
He took her into his arms, and did just that. He carried her up the stairs
and into her bedroom. Laying her down on the bed, he got in beside her and
kissed her on the lips at first. Then he brought his lips to her neck, gently
nibbling and kissing her. She moaned, and ran her hands through his hair. As he
kissed her, his hands slid under the dress and he found the clasp of her bra. He
got the bra unclapsed, and slid the dress off of hair. Kissing his way down her
body, he had her squirming underneath him. He slid her panties off.
" Taylor, I... I need you now." She gasped, as he slid two fingers inside of
her. She moaned, gripping the sheets of her bed as his mouth went down on her.
His tongue slid inside of her, and she moaned even louder.
He smiled, and continued to slide his fingers and tongue in and out of her at
first for a bit. Then he quickly undressed himself, and slid himself inside of
her. Their pace started out slow at first. She wrapped her legs around his
waist. " Faster. I... I need you, Taylor." She whispered in his ear, and his
pace quickened as he slid in and out of her.She moved in rythym with him, her
moans becoming louder as he went harder and faster.
When it was over, they lay there in each others arms breathless. For a few
moments, neither one was able to speak.
" That was amazing." She finally spoke up after some time passed. She kissed
him.
" Totally. It sure beats our first few times together." He laughed, kissing
her back.
She laughed too. " I couldn't agree with you more." She kissed him again, and
laid her head on his chest.
Both fell asleep moments later, and didn't wake up until the phone rang the
next morning. It was Zac calling, inviting them to come over for a barbecue
later that day.

Arielle had in fact stayed over at Zac's the previous night. She had packed
up a bag thinking she would stay over there. She had spent time with
Christopher, Junia, and Shepherd that evening. Pizza had been ordered and they
had watched some movies together. They had started off with The Neverending
Story and then watched Aladdin. When the younger kids had gone to bed, her and
Christopher then turned on Jumanji.
Now it was 1:00 the next afternoon, and she was helping Kate prepare food for
the barbecue. She worked on making the potato salad as Kate seasoned up some
burgers. " Do you think my mom and dad can make it work, Kate?" She asked. " I
mean, after everything they both have been through?"
" I think it will be a tough road for them. I mean, he has a custody battle
coming up and who knows what that might do to them. Getting involved at this
time... it might be a bit of a problem. But if they really love each other, they
will make it work." Kate said, flipping the burgers over to season the other
side.
" They both seem so happy when their around each other. I really hope it
works out." She said, stirring the ingredients together.
" We'll just have to wait and see." Kate finished seasoning the burgers, and
took out some hot dogs from the fridge.
Arielle looked over at her. She could see the conversation was getting to
Kate, and she should have known it would. Natalie was in fact her best friend
after all, and now she was gone. " I... I'm sorry, Kate. I shouldn't have even
brought it up."
Kate nodded. " I know you want your parents to be happy, sweetie. But I can't
agree that it is a smart move for them to be together. Natalie and Taylor were
so amazing as a couple, and I will always wish he would just make some big move
to win her back over."
Tears came to Arielle's eyes, and she had to walk out of the kitchen so that
Kate wouldn't see. Zac saw her walk out the front door to be alone, and
considered following her to see what was going on. But he decided to ask his
wife instead. Going into the kitchen, he snuck up behind her and wrapped his
arms around her waist as she took over stirring the potato salad. " What's going
on?"
" She asked the wrong person about if her parents could make a relationship
work, that's all. I understand she wants them to be happy together, but I can't
get into the idea. I just can't. To me, I really will always believe him and
Natalie were meant to be." Kate told him.
" I know. But things aren't going to change, Kate. Natalie left him, and
Taylor is moving on. You need to try and accept it." Zac kissed her cheek. " As
tough as it is to see your best friend leave and watch him move on, it's just...
it is what it is."
" I don't want to talk about this anymore, Zac. I just can't. Excuse me." She
lightly pushed him out of the way, and put the potato salad in the fridge before
walking out of the room.
