As Rachel took one last look around the venue for Christopher, her thoughts
went to Brian. She thought back to the day she overheard a conversation between
him and one of his buddies. From the way it had sounded, he wanted to get his
sweet revenge on Ashley for leaving him and taking his kids away. He admitted to
his buddy that Arielle wasn't even really his, but that he wanted her in his
life too. It seemed as though he was willing to do whatever it took to get them
back, and maybe this was it. She ran back to the dressing room to find Taylor's
arms wrapped around Ashley, who was sobbing as she wondered where her son was. "
I think I know what happened, guys. I don't know why I didn't think of it before
now."
" What's that?" Zac asked, looking up at her as he wiped tears from Arielle's
cheek.
" It has to be Brian. You know the reason why I came to Tulsa at all was to
protect my best friend and Christopher from his dad. Well, I only knew he would
show up here because of a conversation I overheard. He was set on bringing both
of them back home with him. But he only saw his oppurtunity to seize one of
them, and grabbed Christopher. He was kidnapped! It is the only explanation
there is." Rachel told them."
Taylor thought about it, and nodded his head in agreement finally. " It makes
sense. Zac had told me the reason him and Kate moved themselves in with Ike and
Nikki was because he had been following them around. He must have taken the
oppurtunity to take him tonight, figuring we wouldn't realize it until it was
too late."
" I'm calling the police. Arielle, do you have a picture of Christopher on
you that the police can take a look at when they get here?" Natalie asked.
" Yeah. I just... I hope they haven't gotten too far. I need my brother back
here with me." She cried.
Zac wrapped an arm around her, and kissed her cheek. " We'll get Christopher
back, Arielle. I promise you we will."
" If Brian lays one hand on my son, I am going to kill him." Ashley said,
wiping away her tears.
" No one is going to kill anyone, Ashley. We're going to get your son back,
and send him off to jail." Taylor told her. " If you were to kill him, you would
be in jail. I don't think you want that, do you? Or do you want another taste of
what it's like?"
She shook her head. " Okay. Your right. But can I least..."
Isaac interrupted her. " No one is going to do anything to Brian, as upset as
we all are. We are going to let the police handle him. Now go ahead and call
them, Natalie."

A couple hours had passed since Brian got out of dodge from Oklahoma, and
they were now in Kansas. He was on his way back to Colorado. Figuring he had a
few minutes to get gas and take a bathroom break, he stopped at the nearest gas
station and untied Christopher. " You are going to do as I say. You go into that
bathroom and do your thing without so much as a word to anyone. Do not try
anything. If you do, there will be consequences."
Christopher nodded to say he understood. But as he followed his dad inside
the gas station, he looked around him to see if there was any chance of getting
anywhere if he were to run off. He couldn't help but get the idea of trying to
get away. He went into the bathroom, and took his turn and then his dad went in
for his turn shortly after.
" Are you okay?" Some woman asked him as he waited for his dad to come out of
the bathroom. " You... you look hurt and so scared."
He nodded shyly. " Yeah. I'm fine. Just missing my sister." That part wasn't
a lie. He missed her very much, and wished she was there with him.
" Are you sure? Because I could help you if you just let me. Please... tell
me what's going on." The woman asked him. She couldn't stand to him so scared,
and knew the look on his face all too well. It's the one she saw on her own kids
face when it came to his dad.
Christopher was about to say something to her when his dad came out of the
bathroom, and saw the lady looking at his son curiously. " I don't know what you
are thinking, but get away from my son."
He dragged Christopher over to the drinks, and told him to pick something
out. " You better not have told her anything." He said with gritted teeth.
" No, I swear! She asked, and I just told her I missed my sister. That's
all." He looked at his dad fearfully.
" Good. Now pick something out fast. I want to get back onto the road." He
told him, as he grabbed a bottle of coke.
Christopher grabbed a bottle of apple juice, and Brian paid for the gas and
the drinks. They walked back to the car, and although he really wanted to make a
run for it, he didn't. He did not want to give his dad a reason to hit him again
worse than he already had.

Arielle and Rachel were explaining to the police everything they could about
Christopher's disappearance, as Ashley hung back by Taylor. Natalie had tried to
get a moment alone with her husband, but he seemed unwilling to leave her side.
Annoyed and a little pissed off, she left the building, she walked out to the
tour bus.
" Do you have a picture of your brother that we can use to..."
" Yeah." Arielle took out her wallet and grabbed the one picture she had of
him out, showing it to the officer that was questioning her. " It's about a year
old, but he hasn't changed much since."
" Thank you. Now is there anything else you can tell us that may help us find
them?"
She nodded. " He is very abusive. He will hurt Christopher and he finds it at
all neccessary. So we need to find him, like as soon as possible."
" We will do everything in our power to make sure he comes back home in one
piece. I promise you that. Thank you for your time, Arielle." The officer
motioned for the other to come with him, who had been talking to Rachel. They
went back to their car and discussed their next move.
" We will find Christopher, Arielle. I promise you." Rachel told her, giving
her a big hug.
" I really hope..." She was interrupted by a sharp stabbing pain in the
stomach. She grimaced in pain, and looked at Rachel. " Something is happening.
My baby... we need to get to the hospital." She told her.
" Taylor, get over here. I think we may have a problem!" Rachel called out to
him.
Taylor rushed over to Arielle's side, noticing she was in some pain. " What's
wrong? Are you okay, honey?"
" No. I... I think... I'm losing this baby." She cried. " We need to go to
the hospital now."
Ashley tried to put an arm around her, but Arielle stepped back. " Just leave
me alone, mom. I don't want you anywhere near me."
Taylor led Arielle to the car, as the stabs of pain continued. " I can't
believe this is happening. As if Christopher being kidnapped isn't enough." He
shook his head, wishing there was something he could do to help his daughter.
But he knew the only thing he could do was get her to the hospital as soon as
possible.
